The Borgopetra Project
Borgopetra Historic Residence – a maison “d’hote” created from what was once the manor house of
the Rapisardi di Sant’Antonio barons – now offers charming houses and apartments just a few
kilometers from Catania, Mount Etna, and the beauties of Eastern Sicily. With a square layout and facing an elegant patio – protected by the Superintendence of Fine Arts – the structure is like an island within the ancient urban context: quiet and secluded, yet not remote. The windows of the houses overlook the vegetable garden and the garden, where cascades of geraniums and jasmine, tufts of century-old oleander, a small collection of succulents, and a fruit orchard offering delights year-round stand out.

Lovingly restored, the structure welcomes travelers in various spaces arranged around the inner courtyard and offers houses of different sizes, all tastefully furnished with family furniture and finds from around the world.
Amorevolmente recuperata, la struttura accoglie i viaggiatori in diversi ambienti che si dispongono intorno al cortile interno, e offre case di varie dimensioni, tutte arredate con gusto, con mobili di famiglia e trouvailles dal mondo.
Fra i fusti di aranci e gelsi, nella calma e quiete del giardino e del frutteto, si cela una piscina: lontana dalle case, la sua attività non disturba la quiete degli ospiti.
